As mentioned by the tipster himself, this has already occurred several times and if Samsung India don’t act immediately and accordingly, their future in the Indian market will be questioned as users will probably start switching to other brands. Also, multiple Samsung Galaxy S-series users report that often the free screen replacement claim will be rejected by the service center – pointing to the presence of physical damages even though it is with the update that the issue has occurred.

In related news, OnePlus is another brand which became notoriously known for frequent Green and Pink line issues and at a particular instance, a user even shared on social media about how he received a OnePlus device with ‘Green line out of the box‘. As of now, to reclaim back its lost users and to sustain the existing once, OnePlus offers lifetime free screen replacement for its devices. Samsung will also have to adopt something similar to what OnePlus is offering now to its Indian customers and as Samsung is a much more bigger brand than OnePlus, this is really expected from the South Korean smartphone maker.
