One UI 8 Watch Beta update rolled out for select Galaxy Watches; Arrives with new apps screen, new Now bar and more

Yesterday, Samsung officially released the One UI 8 Watch beta update for selected Galaxy Watches in South Korea and the USA. It is revealed that the update will likely be released for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra first and then for other compatible Galaxy Watches.

One UI 8 Watch Beta: Features

This new beta update includes the option to show apps in a grid form or a list form. Users can now combine tiles into one tile, there is a new battery icon and charging effect, new background blur, new notification style/view, updated UI in Settings, added routines, more double pinch features, and new Now Bar style as well.

Previously, Samsung has also revealed that the One UI 8 Watch will arrive with new health-related features like Bedtime Guidance to optimize sleep, Vascular load to measure stress on the vascular system during sleep, Running Coach to support personalized training strategies, and Antioxidant Index to measure carotenoid levels for health aging. These features will be made available to a limited number of users through the beta program in South Korea and the USA.
